Wedding Stationer

Whitstable based artist and illustrator creating bespoke illustrated wedding stationery designs that tell each couples unique love story

Why Wedding Stationery

I love weddings, however growing up I never believed I would be able to get married.

I grew up at a time when same-sex marriage wasn’t legal and for that reason, it was something I never saw happening for me.

Overtime, thankfully, the laws and peoples attitudes towards same-sex marriage and partnerships changed and that was when I began to understand just how special weddings are.

They are the moment you get to celebrate your love for your chosen person, surrounded by the people that mean the most to you in life and share your love.

That’s why, regardless of who you are or who you love, I believe your wedding day should be as unique as you both are. Reflecting your journey to this moment and telling your story, full of special details and personal touches celebrating you being unashamedly, you.

This is why I do what I do because I love helping the couples I work with tell their story. I create stationery that truly shows who you are and designs you can cherish for years to come.

How I Started

I've always been creative and enjoyed drawing & designing which led me to study Illustration at Portsmouth University.

It was one of my friends from uni that started me down the path when she asked me to design her stationery for her wedding back in 2017 and it grew from there.

Since then, I've been fortunate to work with lots of different couples over the years, creating bespoke illustrated stationery designs that tell their story and fit the themes and styles of their special days, designing and drawing everything from their Save the Dates & Invitations, through to their on the day stationery items, such as Table Plans, Welcome Signs, Place cards and more.

How I Work

I create my artwork and designs from my home studio in Whitstable, Kent, with Bruce (our black Labrador) for company.

My illustrations are hand drawn using a mix of fine liner, watercolour and pencil depending on the style and finish each couple are looking for.

I start the process of working with each couple by having a meeting either in person or by video call, so I can get to know you and understand exactly what you want for your designs.

During the creative process, I like to send regular updates so you can see how everything is coming together and make sure it’s exactly how you want it to look and once you’re happy with everything, I’ll take care of all the printing, using trusted partners I’ve worked with for many years.
